Contributing stock to Wonderfolk can offer significant tax advantages while supporting youth leaders in our community. Below are a few options to consider with your financial advisor.

If your stock has decreased in value since purchase:
Sell the stock and collect the proceeds.
Donate the cash to Wonderfolk.
This approach allows you to claim both a capital loss deduction and a charitable deduction on your taxes.

If your stock has increased in value:
Donate the shares directly to Wonderfolk.
You’ll avoid capital gains tax and can deduct the full market value of the shares.
