Our mission is to develop diverse young leaders through access to unique leadership opportunities that amplify their agency, impact their community, and shape their future.
Our goals focus on reaching our carefully developed strategic plan—our "Flight Path." Over the next five years, we aim to double the number of students we serve, expand global opportunities and increase local community-based projects engagement. Additionally, we plan to implement robust, multi-year internship, leadership and career exploration opportunities in the areas we operate in. These efforts will allow us to deepen our impact and provide real-life experience to our next generation of leaders.

We built a solid foundation by focusing on our operations—taking a close look at our board structure, internal systems, and how we worked together. By the end of 2024, we had a clear plan in place to improve the organization.
To make this vision a reality, we invested in our capacity to grow and reach even more students. We focused on raising the funds that helped us scale our direct service, improve operations, diversify and deepen funding channels, and support our team. We ensured our financial, operational, and communications systems were tuned and effective.
2025 is when we will start to see our “Flight Path” really take off. By 2025, we will have the new framework for our organization fully implemented. We will create a clear strategy to engage new audiences, deepen connections with our supporters, and highlight the real, personal stories behind the numbers. We will craft a communications plan that not only tells the stories of the incredible young people we work with, but also shares the measurable impact we’re having.
Our impact doesn’t end when our students graduate. During this year, we’ll begin the discovery phase of a new second-year alumni program that will provide participants with ongoing workforce development, community engagement and career exploration alongside our mentors. Additionally, we’ll create clear, measurable metrics for every program we run, helping us track student progress and identify areas for improvement. These insights will help us refine our approach and ensure that we can clearly communicate the impacts our supporters have by showing them the tangible difference their support is making.
In 2026, our planning comes to fruition with the launch of two exciting pilot programs: our first-ever two-cohort year. This growth allows us to engage with more diverse communities, empowering even more young people to discover their voices and make an impact through real-world skills. The second year alumni program will also foster a dynamic network, supporting our graduates as they continue to lead, grow, and give back. This community will remain a lasting connection, extending far beyond their time in our program.
By 2027 “Our Flight Path” will be fully underway with the program changes being fully rolled out and actioned. Using the feedback and insights we gained from the pilots, we will be able to iterate the programs and ensure we serve our students the best way we can.
As we move forward, we will continue to refine our processes. By 2029, our alumni programming will be perfected and allow the high-school program to empower as many future leaders as we can for many years to come.
